Thrive Program

This is a comprehensive multi-week dog training program that creates a loving and respectful relationship between you and your dog.

Thrive addresses both desired and unwanted behaviors, and establishes on-leash obedience and depending on your dog, off-leash freedom.

Daily training takes place within the trainer’s homes as well as various locations around Charlotte, including local parks and dog-friendly stores.

This program is designed for dogs 6 months or older.

THE THRIVE PROGRAM INCLUDES:

• Premium Equipment Bundle E-collar, Prong, Leash, Cot and Toy
• On-leash obedience
• Off-leash obedience (depending on your dog)
• Socialization
• Crate training
• Focus on building Confidence, Neutrality, Peace

• Owner lessons: Using the tools & commands for effective communication with your dog
• Regular check-ins to discuss your dog’s progress / plans moving forward
• Tutorial videos to help reference training materials
• Personalized consultation detailing a routine to help you maintain training
• Post-graduate group events
• Boarding services for graduates

GOALS OF THE THRIVE PROGRAM

  • Establish clear and effective communication between you and your dog

  • Help you to become more relevant to your dog and maintain their attention while distractions are present

  • Eliminate unwanted behaviors such as pulling, jumping, mouthing, destructive behaviors, and attention seeking or alert barking

  • Reliably recall your dog back to you in different environments

  • Walk your dog calmly around distractions

  • Help your dog to settle nicely in a crate

  • Help your dog to relax and settle nicely in and outside of the home

  • Have your dog politely wait at all thresholds (crate entrance, doors, etc)

  • Build your dog’s confidence if they are insecure or nervous

  • Build your dog’s acceptance of basic grooming including ear cleaning, bathing, brushing and nail trims
